The first thing people pair with illness is getting treatments accordingly. As with all conditions and treatments, trial and error gets played until success is found.

A team of doctors including an epileptologist and or neurologist will come up with what they conclude is your best interest. Sometimes the best treatment is a combination of multiple avenues.

A warrior may go through hardships multiple times with treatments such as surgeries e.g. a VNS implant, using a programming wand for the monitoring and device settings, or prescribed medications, each have effects. A lot of pros and cons are weighed out, is it worth the aftermath?

The traditional treatments aren't always welcomed by or accessible to all the fighters and alternate treatment is sought out. The alternate is just as much stigmatized as epilepsy itself. Cannabis. There's multiple ways to consume, more to it than the negative stereotype of "pothead"
