So many times a warrior's mentality is questioning:
So did they really understand me?
What can I do independently?
What may I need a little empathy for ?
More often than not a person with epilepsy, warriors may have some communication difficulties such as finding the right words to describe their thoughts. A delay or loss of train of thought, etc. can cause a misunderstanding in conversation.
Regardless of being a warrior continuously fighting our personal battles, we have to acknowledge and abide our limits. Some things are going to be a breeze, others are a little bit harder, and sometimes we need a helping hand.
That helping hand is nothing to be ashamed of using. There's nothing more than growth to follow because with whatever learned, will help one prosper. One must really reflect at times and say I need help with... but many repeatedly hesitate until the comfort zone is found.
I found a way to be the helping hand for other warriors by becoming a community health worker. Some things were simple to understand because I have been through the topics of given lessons. I believe being fluent in the language of the warrior is beneficial for community health and advocacy.
