Bah Bah Black Sheep: Not so easy to fit in

Mental illness can cause judgement anywhere, even within family. People aren't always empathetic or considerate in regards to the struggles for an active duty warrior. Whenever someone is seen as different and misunderstood, it can bring out mistreatment from others. Even playfully teasing can leave it's mark. It's negativity that no one needs; you just don't always fit in. Self-esteem gets damaged, dominos into shutting down, and distancing blossoms. The "black sheep" tends to be sensitive, whatever the treatment, rather than be able to disregard it, things can easily get taken to heart. It's much more than a grain of salt.
