You never know what thoughts are floating around in another person's minds. Stigma is a dark mark of biased disgrace due to circumstances, quality, or person.
There's two main types of stigma: 1.Enacted: Biased discrimination against the PWE, seen as less than, liability vs. person
2. Felt: Shame felt for being epileptic and feeling fear of the enacted stigmas.
So much labelling, stereotyping, and downright outcasting treatment gets sent out; epilepsy is not understood. Epilepsy is treatable, noncontagious, and it's surly not dangerous with any evil spirit. Seizures have to be handled properly.
