Too many times people get away with disregarding or providing a disabled person proper help.
Now when I started this post I was very early in the situation started last year...
This battle has been carrying on for the last two years and it's been dealing with a landlord that does not like to maintain properties also known as slumlords and the City did not want to enforce the proper code. "We have a history with her doing what's called bare minimum" "get a cat, or move"

Now it's time for a good one two punch... One of the violations I complained about over and over and over was that there was not enough hot water it's a building, which has five units she said she had two hot water tanks and would supply. Once boldly speaking to the alpha male in the office at city hall and that's just one of the violations I have gotten taken care of. I find it rather curious that five new hot water tanks are getting installed in the building. Why now? It's because once investigated and that was not enough hot water as the initial code inspector kept saying.

Initial tanks were smaller than me, but the new five were as tall as the men installing.

There's some more ammo in my bag because there are many other violations that code enforcement disregards and I think sometimes it's because of stigmas and a black woman and one fixed income and I'm seen as I just don't want to pay my rent. I do but I deserve better terms he electric problems that this city denies, disregards, basically gets flushes down the toilet.
This is where the epilepsy organizing comes in handy. When there is a problem I take pictures and videos and to record any incident so all my problems with my landlord I'll have some type of picture or video to verify what I'm saying or complaining, it which gives me somewhat a sigh of relief. Persistence pays off
