Epilepsy is treatable, but not curable, straight from the horses mouth.

Updated: Sep 25, 2022

For every part of the body there's a different doctor specialist. For epilepsy and other brain related issues a neurologist is the doctor on call. Seizures have been wear and tare and I report all to my doctor. In response I was told "people with epilepsy are doctors and lawyers, epilepsy is not curable but treatable." Well for me I'm trying to start and accomplish something. I was able to finish a course and get the life insurance sales license and that's only after several failed attempts to complete my higher education. When the correct cocktail of treatment is successful, decrease in frequency and a person's epilepsy is considered controlled. With each seizure a mark is left; mine would chip at my memory. So another route other than college had to be taken. The point is no two people are the same, one person may have tried everything under the sun and still seize in the blink of an eye. Another can be completely controlled by one method of treatment. It's a hard reality for most warriors. This will never go away, and it's so spontaneous, making one always have their guard up.
