Ever heard of NAMI?

National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) is an organization that brings a very important and widespread to light; so many people still don't understand the importance of mental health awareness. 1 in 5 people experience some kind of "mental health problem" because so many things count as mental health illnesses in they are not addressed properly. Some people won't even open up about their mental health because they fear being called crazy or even feel ashamed with that self stigma.

I found the conference very intriguing, of course I couldn't bite my tongue. I may have a soft voice, but plenty to say and I have found my way.

Share my story! As the panel said their part and asked audience about questions, my hand was up 🙋 exchanging my information with others and following up vs. procrastinating with it made a big difference.

Everyone is being affected by the current chaos, and with all the dilemmas, those 1 in 5's don't get their justice, access to treatment and deserved good quality of life.
