Expert: Says Who?

The formal / professional definition of an Expert is a person who has a comprehensive and authoritative knowledge of or skill in a particular area.
It's really hard as a warrior to hear such a strong word only applying to those who have yet to "cure" or even "treat" my epilepsy.
22 years, 5 Rx's, VNS treatment and wild guess... I, like many warriors, am still playing Russian roulette 24/7 in regards to chance of seizure.
There's specialist in many fields, epileptologist is for epilepsy of course. Not taking either side, learning things by the book and a lab or case study is nothing close to walking in these shoes.
