FOMO is an emotional response to believing others are living better easier lives or an important opportunity is missed out. That mindset causes much uneasy feelings of depression, elevated stress and dissatisfaction with oneself. All in which easily trigger seizures. I hate it but my struggles with epilepsy causes me to have FOMO thoughts. I had lots of resentment building up through the years. This is what I was asking myself all the time... Why is everything I want damn near impossible while for others it's a breeze? Not to mention all that I wanted was to feel included, a college degree, and a career to help children with mental health problems. Is this too much to ask? Even when it's a fellow warrior with better controlled seizures, FOMO thoughts come up; they're up and about as if healthy and cured.
