Humility is an honorable trait that is quite often misinterpreted. Like any other opinions, regardless of the topic, to each is own. Society seems to look at humility as a person being lowering class, rank inferior, not very confident, almost a pushover or just "people pleaser".
I'm more than happy to call myself a humble person because there's no other way to say it, I am, just from a very different point of view. I really think it helps me along with my battle. I can't survive as a self righteous purple warrior.
From a religious standpoint, humility is greatly rewarded. I run on my faith, to the point I don't have to worry about myself. I have a kindness that others see. Practicing proper humility and gratitude, can really take you a long way. I'm not king of the world, and I know my savior strengthens me.
