Epilepsy is a broad widespread condition at the same time it's something so personal. Which method of treatment will help varies from one individual to the next.
I'm currently on multiple treatments in unsuccessful efforts to manage my epilepsy. Over time I have been prescribed all types of anti epileptic drugs (AED's) that my epilepsy has been resistant to. At 17, VNS therapy was added to the list of attempts to make my life as functional as can be. When 25 I began using medical cannabis; using specific products as recommended. I, now 33, have a Vagus Nerve Stimulator (VNS) CBD oil and prescribed two AED's as treatment. What symptoms I experience now are very different from what symptoms I had when first diagnosed. They will continue to change as time carries on. A strong warrior has to learn to adjust to the changes that are prone to happen just as quick as they come. 💜
