Incurable, treatable, somehow stay functional...

Something hard for many warriors including myself to swallow is how much is expected from the person experiencing seizures. First off it's very disappointing when the neurologist says there's no cure just various treatments.
It will take quite a toll on the memory and cognitive skills so education won't be your best friend. As a result the feeling of less than brews.
All the while, stay self-sufficient, live a functional lifestyle regardless if there's any active mental misfires.
My initial diagnosis was complex partial and it was told that I was likely to grow out of it around 18. 36 now and I have yet to grow out instead they have blossomed not what I expected.
