May is mental health awareness month

It's Gonna Be May

Some people highlight the month of May for different reasons; some are simple fun with an old pop song, while others acknowledge it as a designated time to highlight

mental health awareness. It most definitely eats at one's self esteem. It fluctuates because if they feel a little off one day, they can see themselves faulty.

I, as I comfortably share the fact that I am a purple warrior. Not everyone speaks out about it to avoid the implicit biases that, more often than not, soon follow. Different conditions play along with each other. At the very same time Epilepsy is running through my brain, depression, anxiety are running just as haywire as the world currently. It is sad to say, the world is in the midst of a hardcore Tonic -Clonic (grand-mal) seizure. As the episode passes more people fall into these categories. The stressful wear and tear takes a toll on everyone in one way or another.

The social determinants of health can really jump in the mix, as the world is changing at a marathon rate, so much happening so fast. People are often feeling overwhelmed and need that little empathy, but are hesitant to ask for help. If you need it, you need it, don't be ashamed to ask for that helping hand.
