My Brain: the inner fuse box

When too much is going on in life I, like many, can get overwhelmed. Being overwhelmed can easily lead to a seizure. If I was to give a analogy or layman's terms per se describing my epilepsy, I can say our brain would be equivalent to a fuse box. When too many electronics are running simotaniously, the fuse blows (seizure) and you need to go tend to the fuse in order to get the power back (rest and recovery). So metaphorically speaking, with too much stimulus going on and misfiring of the neurons, a purple warrior's brain basically shortcircuits and have a seizure of sorts...there are just so many to choose from. 💜
The AED's and other types of treatment are what would be the surge protector, their role is meant to prevent blowing the fuse. If receiving treatment, one should stick to it, it just might be what is needed.
Organizing, planning ahead, saving set dates all are methods that can be used to reduce the frequency of "blowing a fuse". The more I see things fall into place, the more assured I feel; moreso calm, cool, and collected. With the described peace of mind, likelihood of blowing fuses can greatly decrease. 💜 #My_Zen #Serenity
