Remember, a seizure is a seizure, regardless of the type.

Since there are multiple types of seizures, they all look different as they take place.
An absence type where I may be chewing, blank stare, or sudden fear sometimes, may look like something not too bad in comparison to the occasional grand mal a.k.a. tonic clonic.
What needs to be remembered is that a seizure of any sort indicates that the brain is misfiring; that never should be swept under the rug because all seizure types take a toll and each need to be tended to in urgency equally across the board. There's no "mine is worse than yours" in epilepsy. Just one seizure, of any kind, can completely change a person's life. Take note of all types that come to pass to help the doctor find the best fit treatment.
