There is still so much unknown about epilepsy, just as much stigma floats around on a constant that really needs to be broken; if everyone had this general understanding I don't think life would be full of so many obstacles for the person battling epilepsy around the clock.

We have to break it down into layman's terms; someone not be so familiar with seizures in general, and definitely ignorant to the nitty gritty about epilepsy. Due to assumptions people hear "seizure" tonic clonic (grand mal) is the image that comes to mind. Yes very hard to watch, but no, not every seizure is that type.
